USALS & V8 Finder

Hello everybody, just a week ago I bought a V8 Finder and immediately up-dated with the new firmware 17.03.2020 dated.
I have a STAB rotor - model HH120 - and I need to know how to tune my dish with the finder. I easily supposed to set in Antenna Connection the Motor Antenna setup, but what about my latitude & longitude? Where dial them? After my coordinates are in, moving to a different orbital position, will the rotor move by itself?
Other question: is it impossible, using Alieditor, add manually any transponder in a satellite not yet scanned by the finder and consequently empty on the udf file? If so, really I don't understand why this entry is disabled!
Thanks in advance, my greetings everybody!

To update you use the .bin file inside the .zip folder.

When you go to a satellite on the satellite list and press the yellow button for setup you can then change the motor type to USALS and the lat long shows.

You can also access the TP menu and "ADD" new TP's there.

Thanks Owen for your reply: I'll try as suggested!

In other words you confirm that it's impossible to add any TP through the AliEditor, right?

I have not yet used the editor.

Maybe in these days of total lock down at home here in NZ I will try it.

Same lock in Italy...

I found on the net an old version of AliEditor where it's possible to add the TPs, but in the GTMedia version this function is missing. Unlucky the old version isn't compatible with our finder and so unusable.

Thanks in advance for your help and availabilty.

Thanks a lot msilver511 for your PM!
Your suggestion is OK and it's not the first time i tune a dish with a motor; it's the first time with this meter and so some additional infos are needed and appreciated. Best regards!
