Hello and thank you from Jet Media for the technical team
Please keep God in mind and apply user and customer comments...
Basic SNR information. AGC. BER. DB is not real and needs to be calibrated.
Instead of giving an unreasonable answer to the user, follow the direction of the XS7700HDPRO finder...
Show the option of the amount of electricity consumed when the rotating motor rotates
The option to show that the LNB is broken and weak or that the coaxial wire is inappropriate...
Show the amount of charge and battery power as a number and percentage, for example 88%
Make the zoom signal bigger, make the font bigger...
Respect user comments...

Unfortunately I can't get the meter to lock to the MultiStream package on 33E. My basic Golden Interstar Rx has no issues, so this is disappointing. Is this a known issue and is there a planned fix? I have tested direct TP entry and also pre-configured scan.

did you add the PLS gold code?

GT media V8 max finder

Why, although the battery is charging 100%, but that first piece in the indicator of the battery falls quickly and remains in this state, is it a bug that can be corrected in an upcoming update?[

GT media V8 max finder Why is the resolution of the screen display not as clear as the GT media V8 pro's despite choosing the high resolution...I think they are using the same screen 🤔

V8 pro
1.When changing resolution to 1080 channels goes dark
2.The way of spectrum analyzer should be changed and be more specific, it is impossible for the user to know the shapes of different satellites it is the function of spectrum analyzer to distinguish satellites by their spectrum

One more thing
3. The satellite frequencies should be automatically ordered , it takes a long time to find a frequency . I think this is a simple matter

Has any of you tried using the 13V from the satellite input through a splitter for the source for your 12v DVB-T antenna?

A splitter that is DVB-T frequency and power pass on both ports would work.
Just remember to turn off the 5V power for the DVB-t, but it would not matter if did forget as the diodes in the splitter would block the 5V anyway, just like splitters block 13v / 18V from two set top boxes using satellite.

V8 Finder Pro 2
Spectrum ->Terrestrial
In Bandwidth=Full and Mode=Full changing position of the cursor is very slow but this is not the worse.
If I want to look closer (Band=100M) for example 538MHz then it can be done but after back the cursor landing on the 110MHz and if one want to look at 560MHz then moving the cursor will take ages... Maybe this can be done with some input from keypad? Or maybe let the cursor stay in that 538MHz previously choosen?

GTMedia V8FINDER Pro2: very poor sensitivity for DVB-T reception. It only finds strong signals, while it is practically unusable for weaker ones.

If you have a weak signal you should put another antenna and another amplifier, weak signals are useless, in the finder you have to measure the PWR, the Ber, the MER and CN that that's what you have to check

How then to explain that this weaker signal is not a problem for DVB-T receivers that lock it (including GTMedia V8 UHD). But the V8FINDER Pro2 does not lock that signal at all, so I have nothing to measure.

The signal must be acceptable within the technical parameters , If the signal is weak it is not acceptable

If the device can only process strong signals from a nearby transmitter then there is no point in calling it "FINDER".

This version is supposed to be clean of the problems that were in the first version...I don't know how these engineers think. We hope it will be fixed with updates.

Yes, same here!
And no spectum appears in Mode:CH and Bandwidth:100M
(thats in addition to DVB-T not working at all for me ...)

Hello, good day. I have a question for you. How many TV channels can GTMEDIA V8 FINDER 2 store in itself? According to my experience, it cannot store more than 1035 channels. Is this a device problem? Similar samples store up to 6000 channels. What is the reason for this defect?

It is a database that you can put many channels in 800 kb, enough to be able to search for satellites in your footprint area

Hello

Is possible to add Ka band LNB local oscillator? especially 20.25GHz?
or maybe its possible to enter manually local oscillator?

i have v8 finder pro2 but it should be available in every finder.

its weird that finder dont have Ka band local oscillators :o

Same problem here....

I bought this device mainly for DVB-T/T2 and it turns out that it doesn't work....

Why do I want this device if it is not capable of finding difficult signals... To look for a good signal I have other devices that cost €10, I could even put the antenna without any device, simply by eye.

This device makes no sense to me without a good DVB-T/2 tuner capable of searching for a signal in difficult places and adjusting the antenna as much as possible.

Here there are many dark areas due to the high mountains....You need to look for a signal among so many mountains and with this it is not possible.

The problem will be in not using an antenna suitable for the mountains.

You always have an excuse friend...it is funny....and sometimes annoying

As I said, other brands, even cheap DVB-T receivers, work without a problem....this means that something is wrong with the V8 Pro....sorry, it's reality.

Really do you think it is not a correct antenna for the mountains? It is the best antenna that can be bought in Spain and almost in Europe.....2m antenna with amplified active MDR dipole.

Friend please accept that the device has a problem in the DVB-T tuner....Don't follow alleys that have no exit please.

The best thing you can do is notify the development department to work on new software that improves gain in the DVB-T tuner, there are several affected users.
