Problems with DVB-S2 Signals

Post by lineman230 »

I am trying to scan Galaxy 30 125W to find the new Disney Muxes in DVBS2 but once the meter finds the signal it freezes and then reboots.
The signal I am trying to find is the following:

3920 H 34289
DVB-S2X 16APSK
77/90 FEC
Pilot Off
0.05 roll off

Does anyone have an suggestions or advise?

I do not have another box to test them but I do know the following information that was gleamed from another site.

3920 H 34289
DVB-S2X 16APSK
77/90 FEC
Pilot Off
0.05 roll off
Nine HEVC channels
General Instruments (DC2) encrypted

There are two more Disney DVB-S2X muxes:

Galaxy 18 (123W)
4180 H 34288
DVB-S2X 16APSK
25/36 FEC
Pilot Off
.05 Roll Off

Galaxy 17 (91W)
4040 H 34288
DVB-S2X 16APSK
77/90 FEC
Pilot Off
.05 Roll Off

Since the Galaxy 18 mux is at 4180 the V8 finder finds the signal immediately and it flashes' on the screen and then freezes and eventually reboots.

These signals are making the finder unusable on those polarities for any satellite with this type of signal . :(
