how do i get meter to move motorised dish

Post by Goatie »

hi folks, my brain has gone over last few months i can't remember how to do things now
my motorised dish is just not aligned (only sligghtly out)
I'm trying to get the GTmedia V8 finder to move the motorised dish and then i just give dish little movement by hand to get the best reception
can it be done ? how do i do it?

As you first enter the menu you will see two options. fixed dish and motor dish.

The Finder-meter does not allow for switching AND motor control, only one at a time.

If your motor control is USALS, then set that in ther antenna settings.

You will also need to click on the USALS or read the color button allocations ans set your location, your latitude and longitude.

Then the motor will move to the longitude of the satellite you select.

if your motor is DiSEqC you will need to move the dish to a position and then set the position number and "Save".
