Why is there no «User Preset DB» in «USB Backup»? Although there is one in «USB Upgrade». It is possible to eliminate this discrepancy. Add «User Preset DB».Thank you.

If you do a factory reset and then save a user data file it will be the factory preset data set.

Same thing as you did with the V8 turbo.

I know that GTMEDIA V8 turbo can create a v8 turbo_reset db file, but GTMEDIA V8 Finder_Meter does not have such an operation. It is only possible to save a USB Database file from it. Turn it on and look in the USB Backup submenu.

PS Screenshot (USB Backup_V8 Finder_Meter_presetdb) I made it myself. You cannot create a presetdb file in GTMEDIA V8 Finder_Meter.

But if you do a factory reset does it not load a world list of satellites?
You should be able then to export that.

I will check later.

Please check. I'm giving you screenshots of USBDump and you can see what can be saved on USB, what settings the receivers that I have in stock have. GTmedia X8, GTmedia X8COMBO and GTmedia V8TURBO have more features. And the translation is done better with these brands of receivers. Why not make USB Dump the same on all brands of receivers? Of course, if the receiver's software capabilities allow it. Thanks.

OK I see what you are wanting now.

I did a factory reset on my meter, powered off on and set up the language and area options.
I then did a USB user file backup and got a file "V8Finder_Meter.udf" with 0kb, empty file.
The setup after a reset does give four area options for factory satellite list, the preset lists.
You can access these via the System setup menu / satellite region.
Changing this does delete your current user file and gives you that regions preset list.

That is the only preset files I see in the finder meter.

I am not sure why it does not save this full list by the USB Backup.

Yes, that's right. If I move to another region, for example, Asia (160E-73E). I need, for example, ABC 2/2A and return Europe (73E-0E) Astra 4 A/SES 5, then all my previous settings go back to factory settings. When setting up, I sometimes need: ABC 2/2A, Astra 4 A/SES 5 and Amos 3/7. It turns out 3 regions. And update your settings every time via USB. You don't update the software when changing on satellites (database), do you? You can solve this gap by adding as in GTmedia V8TURBO. Thanks.
PS Please add Hispasat 30W-5/30W-6. It is not in the Atlantic database. viewtopic.php?p=104405#p104405

Is it possible to add to the software what I wrote above? I think this will improve the functions and it will be easier to prepare the device for operation. Thanks.
