How to input the parameter of the circular polarity

Post by xmh0511 »

In the current, we just have one kind polarity, which is the line polarity in which the parameter is either H or V. However, some satellites use circle polarity whose parameter is either L or R, the firmware just does not support to input such kind parameter. How to input them?

As far as I know, circle polarity L corresponds to line polarity H while R corresponds to V. Anyway, it's not convenient and hard to remember. Please add the support for circle polarity.

You must select the LNB according to the conversion indicated by the LNB

LO Frequency: 5150MHz
You must select in antenna configuration the frequency of the LNB the 5150

I don't know what you mean. I was asking the polarity instead you was answering LNB frequency.

You already know what R and L are

No, I do not clearly know it. This issue should be clarified by official. How to set R, L polarity in finder series?

R is V L is H, only change LOF frequency.

They have already told you what R and L are, R turns counterclockwise and L in the same direction, that should not matter to you, you just have to select the frequency indicated by the LNB in the LOF and put it in the Finder default is universal 9750-10600 MHz

Yes, I hope the option L and R can be directly offered in the configuration of satellite in v8 finder2.

It is an irrelevant option, it is only the polarity L Left hand, R Right hand, such as the position of the Vertical and Horizontal antenna, examine in the Finder the Led what color it has, you will know voltage and polarization

If these polarity options were irrelevant, wouldn't H and V are irelevant too? Obviously, they are significant parameters to consist of the information of the transponder. Since H and V are offerred why don't we offer L and R?

Because it has no technical interest beyond the voltage to switch, the LED already tells you, to align the antenna, which is its purpose, you have to look at other data that is relevant
To distinguish them, remember H-I-J-K-L for 18V and R-S-T-U-V for 13V, so you will remember

With L and R satellites I find that when scanned in by blind scan, the frequency is found on both H and V as the scan is done.
Rotating TP's / satellites rotate past H and then V and then H again.
As they are like a polarized H signal for a moment as they rotate, they will for that moment not be seen by the V pick up and the same again in 90 degrees for the H pick up.
A dielectric plate can be placed in a normal LNB to scatter these signals so that one of H or V pick ups in the LNB can see the signal at all times.
Even with or without a dielectric plate, I scan in both H and V and then check which is getting the better signal.
