X8 Combo no SAT programm no Cable programm

Hi at al,
I have bought a X8 Combo but i can see nothing, Wether Sat nor Cable does work.
I am in Germany and want to see Rai and Mediaset over SAT and German Cable Programms. i have a Tivusat card.
A software upgrade through USB doesn`t work.
I read a few things but i need more help. Is there a step by step instruction?
last Software is X8SC2001000143
Can anybody help me? How do i put Mars software in the receiver without USB Method?

Just had a look in the Download section, for the last update, which is V286 Dated 09 Sept 2021.
You cannot put Mars software onto this receiver, they have not made any form of software for this receiver for over two years.
Can you upload some photo's of Menu's etc, then users will be able to help you set up your receiver, what is your main language.
With your dish, what size is it, and what satellite is it pointing to.

Hi stretch, thank you for your reply.
i will try the V286. Main language is German and italian. Satellite is pointing HOTBIRD. Dish is 80 cm.
With V7pro all works perfect

So you have a good feel for the GTMedia receivers, have a look at dishpointer, you could swing your dish to 5w.
You could then get the (RAI) channels, without using any cards.
The software for the X8, is in the V8 section.

Hi again Stretch,
meanwhile i have updated the software version to V286 and installed the channels.
But the Mediaset Channels remain dark.
Do you know if the Tivusat Card works with this Receiver?

There are a few threads about using Tivusat cards in the GTMedia receivers.
