GTmedia gt combo sin señal en DVB-T2

Post by manu13 »

Is the input connection on the GT Combo OK, not loose or broken?

Have you turned ON the DVB-T antenna power?

Have you powered OFF / ON the GT Combo?

I found yesterday that my own DVB-T signal was dropping from normal to 30% and sometimes no signal.
This as you say is not due to the antenna / cable as other units still work OK.

I disconnected my GT Combo and used my V8UHD for a few minutes.
I then returned to the GT Combo and all was well for some hours.
Then again the DVB-T signal starts dropping out.
This time I power off, cut the 12v supply, for 5 minutes.
Powering on again and all is well.

This makes me think the issue is heat.

manu13 when you turn off at night do you cut the 12v power or just switch to standby?

To allow the unit to cool, cut the 12v power, the wall plug.

This may help, after switching the receiver off or to standby, when you switch the receiver back on, you may have to go to the channel list to select the channel that you wish to view.

My friend, let's check this question you said, you mean the temperature will affect the DVB-T signal
FREESAT brand change GT MEDlA

I have had this twice now.
As described above the first time I powered off the GT Combo for some minutes and the fault cleared.
The second time I powered off for only 5 minutes and it cleared.
This possible over heat takes a long time to build.
Other attempts to clear the fault, dropping signal level, fail, only cutting power so far has helped.

I will post here again after the next time this happens.
Heat is the only thing I can think that would cause this.

Hola, ¿has comprobado si tienes activado el TS delayer?
