SOPORTE AC4 CON BARRA DOLBY ATMOS CONECTADA A HDMI EN GTMEDIA V8 UHD

Hola,

TVE UHD ha comenzado sus emisiones en España, usando el codec H.265 y resolución 4K, además hace uso en audio del codec Dolby AC4 para transportar sonido en Dolby Atmos en este codec en lugar de hacer uso de Dolby Digital Plus.

Desde el inicio de las emisiones no consigo que mi decodificador GTMEDIA V8 UHD entregue sonido Dolby Atmos a la barra de sonido a través de HDMI passthrough recodificando el codec AC4 en Dolby Atmos sobre Dolby Digital Plus.

¿Cuándo estará disponible una actualización del firmware que soporte el codec AC4?

If the issue is the use of the HDMI sound bar then a fix may be done.

If a new codex for the AC4 sound is needed, that will need a new box as codex is part of the hardware / firmware.
That new boxes come out is because of new codex and new satellite formats that need to be added at hardware / firmware level.
