Hello everyone,

I am testing this new firmware version, and a huge quantity of problems that the community had already noticed are corrected, so congratulations!

However, I have seen now a couple of new problems:

- When I do a new blind search of channels over my previous list, the channels are not updated. Instead of that, the box makes a duplicate of all the channels. We didn't have this problem in the last firmware version, I imagine that it will be solved easily in next updates. This error takes place only in some transponders, in others this duplicity doesn't occur.

- I have noticed that the DVB-T tuner has been improved, but now I have a heavy delay between sound and video in one of the channels. This channel is "Atreseries HD", located on Astra 19.2 E satellite.

Finally, related with the possibility of putting icons on each channel, which is the way to do that? I have proved to put a .png image in the root of my USB, but when I try to import it with the ICON manager, it shows a message saying "Cannot find the storage device". However, the USB in the box is working properly, I can import and export the .xml db file without problems.

Picons work unnecessarily tiring the device, ram and CPU force..
in the future, it becomes pregnant with situations such as overheating.

Apart from these, it is more logical to draw attention to the existing problems.

just another problem. I don't know if this is just me or a general situation.
When you switch to another function in TV watching mode while on the home screen.. sound explosion occurs? I always had this. It would be good to fix this problem.
It makes a very loud sound, even if it's for a second..
I see that the device is going to a good place every time it is updated.

This method, using channel names as scanned for logos/picons, has been done in android satellite receivers for years now.

I can work on TV-only Ku-band from 87w to 129w, when I get some time. Maybe, by the end of the week, I can have it ready. I have all of the picons for North American Ku television. I just have to rename them.
97w Ku will take the most effort because there are over 120 TV channels, and renaming all of the .png files to exactly match service names will take some extra free time. You're welcome.

How to import the logo:
1. The recommended size of the logo is 512X512
2. Need to put a folder named tv-logos in the root directory of the U disk
3. Put icons in the tv-logos folder. The icon format supports png and jpg. The name of the logo must be the same as the name of the logo.

Create a tv-logos folder on your computer. Place .png or .jpg pictures into tv-logos folder. Very important that file names for the .png or .jpg pictures should be exactly the same as channel names. Logos/Icons are case sensitive.

Put tv-logos folder on root of USB. Plug USB into GT Combo.

On GT Combo DVB browser press Menu/Icon Manager/Import to load tv-logos folder.

If you don't want to manually type file names on a computer, you can use the Icon Manager "Apply" tool. Load tv-logos folder with icons into GT Combo. Enter Icon Manager. Highlight desired icon. Press Menu button (Apply), and scroll through channel list until you find the desired channel, press OK. It will automatically give the icon the correct name. You can only assign the "unused" (red highlight) icons. This is very nice tool.

Generic or common channel names like Service 1 or CH1 are a problem because you can't have two or more files with exactly the same name in the tv-logos folder. North American Ku band, my main concern for the moment, only has a few 24/7 channels that use these generic names, so it's not that big of an issue right now. For others, this may be a problem.

If still having problems, re-scan desired channels. Channel names will change from time to time, and a fresh rescan will give you the current name. Check spelling. Remember case sensitive.
