I have 3 units GTmedia v7 Plus decoders. None of them can catch the signal from the satellite. None of them can find a terrestrial TV signal. The software is the latest. Please help me. Is it possible that 3 decoders are broken ? The devices were tested on 2 different SAT and DVB-T TV installations.
By the look of it, from your photo of 13e, you are showing "signal intensity / quality" as "zero".
Check on "Dish pointer" to see if your dish is at the correct "elevation/pointing in the correct direction/skew is correct etc.
I have the same problem with a 7SHD and a 7HD
I tried by updating the firmware on one of them but that made nothing but make me lose time
The fact is that it happened on them both at the same time
I thought it could have been because of the strong winds that could have moved the antenna but once I read this post I realized it wasn't only about me
Please help
Hello, I just bought a more updated GTMEDIA V7 with the latest firmware available but it does not receive any terrestrial or satellite signal, I have the same worries as you, apparently it was sending send down, do you have a solution?
Thank you for your return.

On the current SAT installation there are other tuners from another company and there is no problem with the signal. I have a 115 cm antenna and I have no problem with the signal. I have connected GTMedia v7 Plus receivers to other satellite installations in different locations of different people (nothing works). Terrestrial television does not work on GTMedia v7 Plus either. The terrestrial TV transmitter with 150 KW power is 10 km away from me. The TV on the "normal wire" receives TV stations without any problems. What is this about? The manufacturer released the broken devices GTMedia v7 Plus ????
My antenna system is very well set up. I have never had problems during rain, snow or strong clouds.
One more thing... I also had GTMEDIA V7S and it worked properly on my satellite dish. So writing if the antenna or converter is misaligned is not the right and helpful answer. I ask for a real solution to the problem.
I care more about TV Sat, wants to receive satellite channels. These elements were removed from the factory. The device still does not work and does not find SAT and DVB-T signals.
I'm asking you to be specific and solve the problem.

Yes that Youtube video is about the dvb-t section of the box, not much help with your problem. Have you tried doing a blind scan instead of a program scan ??? it is strange you get nothing at all, also are you able to measure the LNB voltage with and without the LNB being connected, the LNB may be overloading the 13/18v line... also do a blind scan with just just H or V in the LNB POWER setting and see what happens..... just suggestions.

There is no voltage on the LNB output. The multimeter at the output of the LNB socket showed 0.00V
Voltage measured (LNB socket housing and socket center)

well there's the problem, in you foto there is a zero ohm resistor RT2, I believe it is being used as a type of fuse, can you check on either side of that resistor to see if you get any voltage. Also if you have another STB that has a "loop thru" you can try using the V7 Plus as the slave receiver, that way you do not need the 13/18 to power the LNB.

OK well you will have to talk to the factory as I don't believe it is something that can be fixed in software. You say you have another V7 that works, you can use that to power the LNB with a splitter that passes voltage on one side only. Use the other box to power the lnb and connect the Plus to the side which shows a capacitor (blocked) on the splitters label. At least you will know the signal side of the Plus is working.

All 3 pieces of GTMedia V7 Plus do not work and have no voltage. Other tuners from other brands operate normally. What should I do ? Can the factory send me only motherboards for these tuners?
The tuners are new bought on Aliexpress by a warehouse in Spain.
You will have to talk to them, they may be able to help you locate the defective component, I am really just guessing and trying to help. Send them an email at service@winsat.net and give them all the information you have. Also try to test the box using the two methods I mentioned as this will help them analyze the problem. You can PM me if you need more help with the testing, I am just another end user like you.

I wrote an email. I sent information, pictures, a link to this forum with my problem. I hope they 3x send me a working motherboard and I'll just replace it. I can't imagine soldering other elements. It was supposed to be a Christmas present, I'm very sorry
New three GTMedia V7 Plus devices that do not work at all (no reception of SAT and DVB-T signals with well set antenna installation). The problem is not solved. It is abnormal why these three devices do not work at all. Help!

One more thing to try, in the LNB settings turn the 'LNB Power' to off and then back to auto. I remember one STB had the problem that it showed it as on but it was in fact off.... until the person turned the LNB power off and on again.... worth a try.

It's the same on V, H, Off, Auto.
The SAT signal does not appear. HELP !!!
Another strange thing about DVB-T wogole doesn't work and doesn't find channels.
The most important thing now is to run the SAT signal.
