I had to add a stub to the back of my v8 golden to get the C band working. K band worked good, just no C band until I added the stub. And it was the same with two different v8 goldens.

Hi, thanks for your availability to respond. But My (RF IN) broke, how can you get Dvb-C in (LNB in)? Not just for satellite?

Would It be best to add a manual A/B switch so that you can switch between your "C band" and "KU" band dishes to your receiver.

Extremely doubtful you will find one online.

Your best bet is to find an old style (Electronics Repair Shop) near where you live, take your tuner and receiver with you and they may have some old parts catalogs and be able to match it up with something. The old type shops are more likely to have catalogs with old electronic parts and may be able to order a tuner for a small handling fee than the new small (store fronts) that ship everything out to be repaired.

In all honesty you would probably be better off buying a new receiver like the GTMEDIA V8 PRO2 that has an RF input and is newer and probably will have software support further into the future ------- here - https://www.freesat.cc/gtmedia-v8-pro2_p0052.html

Good Luck ! :D

Dear as i see in attachment that's not a big deal for anyone familiar with repairing electronics gadgets, from the pic you posted here i think your tuner center conductor is still in intact condition, only outer part is broken........if it is true then u can easily fix that by soldering as it is coated with tin and soldered without any problem........brother if you are in my neighborhood then I will definitely fix that for you free of cost :P

I already bought v8 pro 2, solved the problem like that. The golden v8 I will use only for satellite. Now I have a problem tuning channels in dvb-C, not tuning all channels of my carrier, I don't know how to change symbol rate
