Hi everyone, how are you?
I would like to know if the FREESAT V8 ULTRA supports CCc.m?
Thanks
For now, use the free one-year protocol.

I’ve noticed there is a North American version I guess you could call it available here in the states. I’m guessing since FunCam an M.RS don’t really apply here these come flashed with a different firmware correct ? Also my research on this one has been sparse but it looks like they have a total of 8 timer record events. Am I correct in this finding? I’m researching to find a good replacement for my V8X that started losing HDMI output and some other odd things on certain C and KU carriers so that explains the in-depth questioning. My V8X locked up yesterday and had to be power cycled and had been without HDMI since then.

Thanks for any answers

An odd one!

I left my Ultra on a "No Signal" channel.
It showed the "No Signal" message.

I looked some time later and it said:

Message:
You have been watching this channel for 8 hours.

WHY tell me that?

Sounds like what my xxxx does. Must be a bandwidth saving feature, but over satellite I can't see the need for that.

I got the same message on my V8X which has V18776, channel was at 39e and is decoded by Biss.
I view channels at 30w Abertis, for long hours, and i do not get the said message.

Maybe this 8 hour notice is to prevent Funcam / m ars software being used as head end fixed channel for rebroadcast, like in a hotel.

Software error

If you press info twice there are options for translate and language.

Red button for language does not work from the Freesat Ultra remote, but does from the GT Media remote.

14 August software version 18368
