Is Softcam.key Same for V8 and V7 series?

Hello guys,

I wanted to know if the softcam.key is the same for V8 and V7 series? I recently bought a V7 Plus, and I was wondering if it's okay to simply use the softcam.key from my V8 Pro2? The V7 Plus hasn't arrived yet, or I would try myself. I'm asking questions early, so when it does arrive in a couple of days, I can get it up and running immediately.
