Hi everybody
How can I use and get benefit of spectrum analyzer ?
For example if I have got a signal of any frequency and I don't want to search it unless I know on which satellite it is
The ID if you know what I mean
Is it possible or what ?

Re: Spectrum analyzer?
That is what the spectrum is for to see the values of all the MUX and also to identify the satellite because they are different and each one has a different shape.

Re: Spectrum analyzer?
First of all thanks for your reply
But for example the frequency 11747 v 27500 is present at 7°W and the same at 26°E, when I am moving from 26E to 7W with spectrum opened on 11747 v 26E , what should spectrum show then ?

Re: Spectrum analyzer?
Here are my trial about the same frequency 11747
I found that the spectrum didn't show any change when I moved from 26E to 7W
I then tried to change the given values and tried to move the dish to an degree with no signal also the spectrum still showing same shapes
Please help me to understand this !?
I started to doubt it is fake analyzer
NB. The analyzer for example in another finder from another company works by analyzing the signal received by lnb wherever I stopped , then it tells me full data ; channels , satellite , degree , provider , and every other information

Re: Spectrum analyzer?
Note when you first start the spectrum it takes some time to get the TP data.
There is a percentage reading of this.
After that it refreshes every few seconds.
If your have it on a splitter as a slave (LNB power OFF) with your TV box also on the splitter , it will show you the spec for the sat your TV box is watching. Note do not have it set to a LNB freq that has 22kHz on(like 9750/10600) as this will still send 22kHz from the finder.
I find this useful to see when a new feed has come up.
