Well, I come through this [email] requesting help for a problem I'm having
with my GT Media V8 Finder satellite finder.

I bought the device and it arrived yesterday this problem: Delay when
displaying signal; Displays signal only on some transponders; Hanging,
needing to be restarted to continue operating the same.

In other words, it is inoperative, in view of the problems mentioned above,
it still does not find a signal in all satellites, even if it is only found
in some transponders.

Bem, venho por meio deste [e-mail] solicitar uma ajuda para um problema que
estou enfrentando com meu localizador de satélite GT Media V8 Finder.

Comprei o aparelho e o mesmo chegou ontem apresentando este seguintes
problemas: Delay ao exibir sinal; Exibe sinal apenas em alguns
transponders; Travando, precisando ser reiniciado para continuar operando o
mesmo.

Ou seja, o mesmo encontra-se inoperante, tendo em vista aos problemas já
supramencionados, o mesmo ainda não encontra sinal em todos os satélites,
mesmo que encontrando apenas em alguns transponders.

I see in the longest video you posted that you have the finder meter sitting on the dish surface.
This will create feed back into your LNB.
Keep your meter away from the dish / LNB and not between the dish and the LNB.

Are you standing in the way of the dish signal from the satellite?
Standing in front of the dish will block the signal and also reflect any local wifi signals into the dish.

Do you have the correct skew for your satellite?
You can find details as to direction skew etc on sites like dishpointer dot com.

Mesmo o localizado não estando em frente ao prato ele não dá sinal e quando dar fica oscilando.

OBSERVAÇÃO: A a antena já se encontra apontada diretamente para o satélite, na outra saída do lnb, que vai para um receptor na sala, tem sinal/qualidade perfeitamente.

Inclinação, azimute e lnb skew corretíssimas para o satélite.

Even the one located not in front of the plate, it does not give a signal and when it does, it oscillates.

NOTE: The antenna is already pointed directly at the satellite, on the other output of the lnb, which goes to a receiver in the room, it has perfect signal/quality.

Tilt, azimuth and lnb skew very correct for the satellite.

The "Lock" and signal strengths do take time to lock and show.

Is the issue you are having just the time it takes for the signal to show?

This depends on the type of the TP and the signal strength of that TP.

When you are testing, do you still have the set top box connected.
I have had set top boxes resend their DiSEqC commands to the LNB and that interferes with the outer connection, depending on the type of LNB.

If you are standing in front of the dish, the signal will be reduced. Stand to the side.

Does the finder meter see these TP's inside where the set top box is connected?

I've already changed the LNB, I stayed next to the dish - along with the locator, and it still has problems, it's not always a delay, I understand that.

Sometimes it doesn't give signal/quality, it keeps oscillating, falling and stops giving lock.

As I've also changed my transponder, I revised the cables, as well as the lnb exchange, as mentioned above.

It may be with that small dish that you are just on the signal strength limit for the finder.
The set top box you have may have a more sensitive receiver than the finder.

These newer high SR rate TP's do drop out of lock and that is shown as signal and quality and then none of both.
My local multi stream TP does this as I am on the edge of the foot print.

No entanto, após realizar a digitalização, o dispositivo sintoniza canais de outro satélite, como o canal de TV Peru. Gostaria de abrir um suporte para resolver essa questão.

If you are getting channels from another satellite then your dish is pointed at that satellite, or you need to add DiSEqC switch settings if you have a multi LNB, or set the motor controls if you have a motor.
