Of course I read about the problem associated with a weak tuner (DVB-T2) in gtmedia v8 finder pro 2 but I had no idea how bad it was...
I tell and show.
Here are 2 photos.
Measurements were taken with a "Planar IT-19" tester.
The first photo one shows the signal level (62.6 decibels) on channel 24, multiplex 2, frequency 498,000 MHz. The second photo one shows the signal level (52.4 decibels) on channel 30, multiplex 1, frequency 546,000 MHz.
That is, there is a stable signal on both frequencies, sufficient for broadcasting a television signal.
I will say in advance that a TV with a built-in tuner also sees these two multiplexes and shows all 20 programs perfectly!

Re: GTmedia v8 finder pro 2 and DVB-T2
But I have a miracle device: GTmedia v8 finder pro 2, which should help, if necessary, with a weak signal, to help adjust the antenna position!
And so I connect this miracle device to the same antenna. And this is what I see.
On channel 24 (498,000 MHz) the signal is excellent. But on channel 30 (546,000 MHz) it is empty!!!

Re: GTmedia v8 finder pro 2 and DVB-T2
I will say again that the built-in tuner in the TV recognizes everything perfectly and shows all the programs.
But the device, which should be more sensitive than the tuner in any TV, does not see half of the programs.
Hence the question - why do I need a device that is not able to help me with the settings?
And this is despite the fact that the signal from the antenna is present and is perfectly recognized by both the "Planar IT19" tester and the TV itself.
Then what is the point of this device (GTmedia v8 finder pro 2) if it is not capable of performing the declared setup actions?
Well, here's the question. Is there any hope that the new firmware will increase the tuner's sensitivity (DVB-T2)? And if there is such hope, then I would like to understand how long we can wait?
Or should I sell this low-quality device and look for something better?

Re: GTmedia v8 finder pro 2 and DVB-T2
Is the 546000 frequency 8M or another spacing like 7M?
If it is not 8M the finder will not lock.
Unlikely that's the issue but worth asking.

Yes,at that frequency 546000 frequency it is this interval 8M.

I would like to hear comments on my question and on this situation from the company representatives.
Your silence does not clarify the situation and I think it negatively affects the reputation of this product in the end.
