V8 Finder overheat

Hi, just received new V8 Finder. Looks vert good. Works very nice, just I have a concern about the heat where the cable from LNB is plugged in. Is this normal? Not so hot, but still.

In the past, I once had a receiver with a customer. The customer had caused a short circuit directly on the cable behind the receiver. Although the plug was very hot he could receive certain TV programs. The receiver has survived the short circuit without damage.
Check your cable maybe a wire of the shield has been placed on the inner conductor
