You can add "USB Backup" to this section. I didn't find this feature in GT media V8 pro. And how will it be possible to edit the satellite database in the future? What kind of program.

The USB menu option show when you have a USB plugged in.
They are there in the V8Pro, maybe as DB Export. (Data base export)
I can not check now as I have a power cut.

"Database Export" I didn't find this function. Only there is "USB Upgrade".

Do you have any channels scanned in to the unit?
If there are no channels then there is no list to save.

I first thought you were talking a bout the newer V8Pro2.
You must have the older early Pro unit.
I may still have one to look at, but memory is I gave it away.

Updated the GTMEDIA V8 Finder Pro satellite database from GTMEDIA V8 Turbo. Downloaded the v8 turbo_presetdb file .Everything is fine. Now you can work (when reset to factory settings, the base will not fly off).
