GTMEDIA V8 FINDER 2 and RTL8188EU not working

Another problem for this finder model.
I bought an RTL8188EU WIFI dongle as supposedly works on the finder pro that in terms of firmware is suppose to be identical as the finder 2, but I plug the dongle and nothing is recognized, no message at all or error.

Anyone using this WIFI dongle with a finder 2?
What chipsets should really work?

Yes

I checked with my Finder2 and it will not see the USB Wifi that works in the Finder Pro and other GT Media units.
I tried two of my working "Skybox" USB Wifi units.

Tested with Dec 2021 and Mar 2022 software.

I just flashed the latest firmware from this month and still no go for the RTL8188EU.

But I didn't understand Owen, do you have a model that works? If yes which one?

No my wifi USB does not work on the Finder2.

It is a Skybox model wifi and works on all other GT Media units.

The mt7601 works perfectly and i think the ralink rt5370 works too but i tested the mt7601 which works like a charm

I got another one from amazon, the GTMEDIA Antenna Wi-Fi USB Wi-Fi Dongle.
It's an original from the brand so this one works without problems.

I think it as a rt5370 since at least plugged on windows the driver says Ralink, but I didn't investigate further to check really the chipset based on the windows hardware IDs.

SO, im guessing the meter v2 finder gtmedia needs a wifi dongle right
