V8 Finder Max supports Wi-Fi adapter: RT5370 and MT7601 (chip). Is it possible, like v8 Finder Pro, to make support for RTL8188EUS/ETV (Realtek RTL8188EUS)?

Adding support for other wifi would need the software for that chip set to be added to the hardware memory, so I expect they can not add other chip set support.

I get a different result with an RTL8188 device ("plugable 802.11 USB 2.0"). The V8 Finder Max identifies it when plugged in, but initially detects only two of the dozen or so Wi-Fi networks available here. Unfortunately neither of them is mine. Pressing the Refresh button sometimes brings up more networks; but although the Finder can then connect to my guest network (a nine-character password) it fails to connect to my main network (a 64-character password). It's the same with a TP-Link device. It looks as though the Finder software doesn't like long passwords. GT Media software V3.2.88.9.307.
Of six other Wi-Fi dongles I have to hand, the only one that works successfully is a Wi-Pi -- an ancient Raspberry Pi 2.4 GHz dongle, FCC ID OYR-COMFAST88.
