To upgrade, download the software from the download page.
Then unpack the .zip folder and save the .bin file on a USB stick main directory.
With the USB stick in the v8Pro2, go to menu USB Upgrade and select "All Code" and the file you stored on the USB.
Note this will erase all user data, the channel list, Ccam info and softcam info (codes for BISS and PowerVu)
Do a USB backup first to save your channel list and export your softcam.key file in the conditional access menu.
If you have Ccam account details record these too.
To downgrade the software use the forced recovery method
Note if you have the very old V8 Pro from 2016 you need to use the software for that unit from the download page.
