From what satellite is this transponder, so that other users can check to find the correct setting.

Re: LNB Freq 10410 WideBand
This is not the frequency of the transponder but the WideBand converter...
I'm asking because in the settings I can't choose such a frequency, LNB Freq ?

Not exactly sure of your question ,maybe provide a little more detail but as for the frequency you can set it for what you want in the transponder menu but remember the input to the receiver through the F connector at the back is always 950 to 2150 mhz input only

What frequency should I choose in the meter, LNB Freq ?
For LNB WideBand TELEVES 747402 ?

I mean the settings in the Finder 2 meter.
What value to choose because there are no settings for WideBand ?

Re: LNB Freq 10410 WideBand
I think this LNB is no good per an individual system, you should use a universal LNB.

Re: LNB Freq 10410 WideBand
when you put in the local osc frequency it helps the receiver display the right transponder freq when you do a blind scan or enter data manually but the actual signal is still coming into the receiver between about 950 to 2000 mhz ,so pick a freq that is close to 10410 in the menu if you cant enter 10410 and try a blind scan ,the displayed transponders will be off be the difference + or - 10410 depending on if you choose a frequency above or below 10410 in the lnb lo menu set up
You haven't mentioned the polarization ,have you looked into this ? there is a difference even-though the frequencies are the same ,you have to have the lnbf frequency and polarization match the system you are trying to receive otherwise you will 'probably /may receive something but they will be weak and /or half the channels will be missing ,at least that's what i have found over the years

Re: LNB Freq 10410 WideBand
I just can't select the appropriate frequency for the LNB 1410 manually in the meter.
The frequency of 1450 is the closest to the choice, but now the question is whether the indications will be real with this setting ?
As for the polarity, yes, I know that on a given transponder there is a different H and V

Re: LNB Freq 10410 WideBand
Is it possible to upload such a frequency of 1410 to the GTMEDIA FINDER 2 meter ?

Re: LNB Freq 10410 WideBand
There are no settings for wideband LNB because tuner of GT Media finder 2 is not wideband...
As already written, GT Media Finder 2 meter, tunes IF frequencies in range: 950 MHz. 2150 MHz.
LNB WideBand TELEVES 747402 has an output frequency range 290 MHz to 2340 MHz.
Therefore, even if it were possible to insert an OL frequency of 10.410 MHz. it would then be impossible to tune all the channels...

Okay, what value should I set in the LNB Freq tab so that the measurements are true ?

Re: LNB Freq 10410 WideBand
Only frequency that comes close is 10450, but transponders found with blindscan will not match in frequency, they deviate from the real frequency of 40 MHz. (if i'm not doing something wrong)

Re: LNB Freq 10410 WideBand
Exactly, in the settings I can choose the closest frequency 1045, the transponders that interest me from Hotbird 13E show only I do not know if these are real values ?

Re: LNB Freq 10410 WideBand
They are not real values, and with that LNB you will never be able to receive them all.
Example:
10758V
Universal LNB: 10758 V MHz. less OL frequency 9750MHz. = 1008MHz.in the range (950-2150MHz.)
Wideband LNB: 10758 MHz. less OL frequency 10410MHz. = 308MHz. out of range (950-2150 MHz.)
LNB WideBand TELEVES 747402 has an output frequency range 290 MHz to 2340 MHz.
With that LNB and an OL of 10410MHz. you will only be able to receive transponders between: 11360 MHz. 12560 MHz.

10758V

I don't know if we understand each other well, I'm just interested in what frequency to set for the LNB in the GTMEDIA V8 Finder 2 meter to set the antenna correctly ?Cluster. One wrote: ↑Wed Mar 29, 2023 8:48 amThey are not real values, and with that LNB you will never be able to receive them all.

Re: LNB Freq 10410 WideBand
If you are only interested with the transponders from 13e which cover 10719v to 12731h.
To get the correct settings for these, set to (Universal 9750 - 10600).

Re: LNB Freq 10410 WideBand
If I set the frequency to Ku 9750-10600, some transponders do not work, e.g. 11508 V and 12265 V do not work. It's strange that he sees transponders with H polarization, how is V connected ?
11508V and 12265V work when I choose Freq 10450...
Maybe something is wrong with the meter? Or this meter does not support LNB WideBand ?

Re: LNB Freq 10410 WideBand
Unless you like to do a lot of experimentation ,do yourself a favor and just get a new $10 or $15 lnbf .
i am retired and like tinkering too but sometimes it just aint worth screwing around for days when a brand new unit is not all that expensive .
if you are in the 3rd world and cant afford it ,well I understand , but otherwise i have got brand new KU band LNBFs for 10 or 12 bucks on ebay or amazon that worked just fine
Time is worth money too !

This is a brand new LNB, I recently bought one for $40. I bought a WideBand converter because it is dedicated to my sat decoder.Marantz wrote: ↑Thu Mar 30, 2023 4:53 pmUnless you like to do a lot of experimentation ,do yourself a favor and just get a new $10 or $15 lnbf .

I would like to get a clear answer, is it possible to set the LNB WideBand correctly with this V8 Finder 2 meter ?

Re: LNB Freq 10410 WideBand
Can you give us the name of the LNB, plus any other details written on the said equipment.
What are the main satellites that you wish to receive, are the channels in the (C-band)(KU-band), also what receiver do you have.
