Gtmedia V8 finder 2-Battery Level Bar No Longer Visible

hi,
Battery level bar no longer visible,
When I first got the device, it was visible in the upper right.

i tried:
- factory reset
- software update
- I tried pressing all the keys

but still doesnt visibile.

Very odd.

Does it show when the charger is plugged in?

No, it doesn't show up while charging.

Also, the charging information light never turns blue.
