Gmedia v8 finder 2

Post by Nacer mouachi nacer »

 The gmedia v8 finder 2 device has a black screen and the sound is there. When I connect it to another TV, the sound and picture appear even though it did not fall down. When I turned it off, the last time I tried repeatedly, I updated it on another device and the process was completed, but the device’s screen is still black. I bought another screen for it and installed it, but I did not see the same problem, sound without picture. Please help.

The screen has a button to turn off the screen, BLight, Back light.
Also the AV in 3.5mm plug will cut the feed to the screen with a switch in that connector.

Also test the AV out as that will tell you if the HD to AV conversion is working.
The 3.5mm plug need to be a long plug.

I connected it to another screen via HDMI. The picture and sound work and everything is fine, but the Gmedia Finder screen remains black and the sound is present.

Try plugging in and out a 3.5mm plug in the AV in connector.

Also try pressing the Blight button.

I tried pressing the Blight button but it didn't work? What should I do next?

Have you tried a 3.5mm AV plug to your TV?
Also try the AV in as that connection also disables the video from the unit to the screen.

I remember another user replaced their screen and it did not set up correctly, like it needed some kind of programming.

After that i am lost for what you can do.
