GTMEDIA V8 Finder 2 doesn't boot

Post by marwan »

Hi, i have a problem with my GTMEDIA V8 Finder 2, when i turn it on i see nothing but a black screen, what i did before the issue shows up is clicking on B.Light button to save battery, then it wouldn't turn on again!! i've no idea what happened.

I've tried to force upgrade it by plug in a usb stick with flash.bin file, didn't help, it didn't turn on in the first place although hitting continously Menu button!

please help

Try with "repeat" pressing menu.
Also try another USB stick.

Use the unpacked .bin file not the .zip

After making sure the Finder's battery is fully charged, connect Finder 2 via HDMI to a TV screen and try forced update procedure again, see if any message regarding forced update appears on the TV screen.

You need to make more than one forced update attempt to understand how and when to press the buttons, You don't always get it right on the first try.
