Unable to pair A4 with headphones or speaker
I just received my new GTMEDIA A4 adapter, but am not able to pair it with my JBL headphones or Bose speaker. I can pair it to my iPhone by selecting it, but the other devices don't have a visual interface. Any help is appreciated.
Re: Unable to pair A4 with headphones or speaker
Is there a menu option to change it from receiver to transmitter?
That may then offer a menu to connect / search for BT devices.
During that you will need to make your head phones trigger their bt connect mode too.
Example is pairing GT Media GT Combo remote, you press menu AND down buttons at once to make remote enter pairing mode.

Thank you for replying.
There is no visible menu on the A4, but I do have the TX light on. When I do that, it flashes red and then one quick bluish flash and now steady red as if connected to something, but it is not the headphones or speaker. I have turned off everything I can find that may be bluetooth. Very frustrating so far.

Re: Unable to pair A4 with headphones or speaker
You must find a way to make the headphones pair from their end.
Look at their manual for what button to press to make them ask for connection.

Re: Unable to pair A4 with headphones or speaker
That will make them transmit so the A4 can see them.
Then if you have the A4 in search for pair, the A4 can see the headphones.
Maybe try pressing all the buttons on the headphones and see if one does this.

Re: Unable to pair A4 with headphones or speaker
I did activate the blinking blue light (per JBL manual) which indicates it is "discoverable). I am having the same issue of not pairing with our Bose speaker as well. I can pair both to my cell phone with no trouble.
