Dish pointing before the satellite with another viewer gt media v8 finder meter don't detect it

Post by Jose18 » Fri Oct 11, 2019 4:01 am

My dish was pointing before the satellite Intelsat 35 when I use another sat finder with the quality signal 92%, GT Media V8 Finder Meter don"t detect It.
Sometimes GT Media V8 Finder Meter detect it a less 1 minute the signal I lose the signal.
Then, GT Media V8 Finder Meter can't adjust that time for example : region brazil, GMT Usage and user define, GMT Offset UTC-05.00 (hour no match with current date and time).
I did a backup on Intelsat 35 at 34 degrees west on satellite region atlantique I find It in satellite region Asia on Intelsat 18 Ku at 180 degrees East with the same transponders Intelsat 18 Ku and Intelsat 35 having all TV, TV FTA and Radio I have found when I did a scan before I had backup my files on Intelsat 35. Therefore, there is nothing on Intelsat 35.
I find another problem with GT Media V8 Finder Meter that I can't find the exactly words to give you an explanation in english because my language is creole and french.
That is a bug or an issue?
I think so a new version comming to resolve the issue caused by the last version of GT Media V8 Finder Meter May 21 2019 name V8FinderMeter.bin; before upgraded It functioned very well, I found the quality signal Intelsat 35 at 85% with the transponder 11595-30000 polarity vertical to rotate on the right LNB Ku Single Universal LNBF 9750-10600 (somtetimes I set GT Media V8 Finder Meter by using only 9750, I received the signal, I lost It) I upgraded It I met many problems with It. I used my local longitude 73.76 West and local latitude 18.20 North azimuth is auto calculate : orientation 110.94, elevation 40.77, polarity 39.26, Sat longitude 34.5 West.
I think so that I use all setting necessary to point the dish by using LNB1 Fixed antenna with LNB power on the GT Media V8 Finder Meter.
Then, GT Media V8 Finder Meter detect along a signal going and comming on Intelsat 23 Ku, Intelsat 11/Sky without pointing a dish : no cable coaxial branche from LBN IN to LNB Universal of wich I use ; the mesurement the signal : strength signal red color 55% and quality signal yelow color 30. That is arrive in Haiti.

If you are using a move dish like USALS or DiSEqC mover, you need to use the function "Menu / Antenna Connection / Motor Antenna".
This will activate the Dish mover functions so your dish will move to the position.
After that as you change from one sat to another you should see your dish move.

You say the signal was there for one minute and faded. This may be a reception level problem.
