For powervu just wait on the channel while it shows "Scrambled" and it will find the code.
Note that many powervu channels now are powervu+ and do not open.
My local powervu BBC on Intelsat19@166e will not open with the GTX Combo.
I did open with the GT Combo.
If you list what powervu channel and satellite others can advise more.
