It's been 2 months however I'm still not so sure we should give up just yet. I have been monitoring the communications from my V8X to the BISS server using Wireshark. For the first month there was no connection at all taking place, you could not even ping the server, the server was totally dead and not online. Then one month ago the server came back online and was pingable. Wireshark showed that a connection was established from my V8X to the server but the server was telling the client (V8X) to wait!. About a week after that things got more exciting, now it was excepting the connection and returning some packets and then closing the connection as if it was done. Last week I noticed now the connection remains with constant chatter as if it's trying to find the key however it doesn't. So it seems there is progresses over the past 2 months, and it's like 80% almost there, but they are taking their time fixing it. I can't see what the packets are as they are using SSL encryption however Wireshark does point out an invalid TSL certificate on that layer which could be the issue.
