ABERTIS on 30W: a question to programmers

I have an enigma2 box and a 60cm disc and Abertis works without scratches
X8 and V7pro with 120cm disc have (NOT ALWAYS) scratches. WHY?

Maybe the sensitivity of the turners within the receivers, could be one of the issues, is your 120cm dish on a motor or stand alone, the bigger the dish the more accurate you have to be in setting up the dish, here in the UK on the said satellite, with a 100cm dish on a motor, i can receive the Abertis channels with S95 / Q85 with a V7 Pro, and on another receiver i get the same readings but on another 100cm dish of my aerial farm with a V8X.

I think the issue now will be the Albertis signal reception on X8 combo .

I think the problem is tuner sensitivity. Afterall, he is in same location, same satellite.

From November 1st TV Canaria left Abertis package but now new channels from Catalonia are on this Abertis frequency.(11347H at 30°W).
It would be possible to add this new channels parameters to the softcam file in order to receive them on future firmware updates?.
Also on this frequency you can review CyL7 becáis from the beginning there is something wrong. The receiver show this channel when you do a search on this frequency but it never keep it on the list once you save and exit from the tuning menu.

I can also confirm that the same issue with the V8X receiver.
You scan the said transponder, 11347h 20857, you find five channels, TVG-SAT / TV3 / A7 / CANAL EXTREMADUR / CYL7, when you SAVE & EXIT, the said channel (CYL7), Does NOT save to the channel list.
Will put a post in the V8X section as well.

Carried out a scan of the said transponder on the V8X model, found five channels, TVG TDT-SAT / TV3 / A7 / CANAL EXTREMADUR / CYL7, when you (save and exit), the said channel (CYL7) does not save to the channel list.
Will update this post, after i have checked the other receivers that i have (V7 PRO) (V8UHD) (V8 Turbo).
After checking the other receivers, the only one with the same issue is the V8 Turbo.

Now I was testing this on a V8 pro2, but it’s more less the same issue with the V8x and CyL channel on this frequency.

Can you make changes on the editor and reload?
Maybe start with another TP / channel set and change the freq, sr, sid's etc over.

I tested this option on a V8x and if you use an edited channel list Abertis channels will not work, and you will need to retune them again.

Can confirm what (gyver) has said, took the details from the (V7Pro)/(V8UHD), down loaded the channel list details, added the said info, put the information back into the receivers, all that i got was a (black) screen, that is on the V8X and the V8Turbo, all other channels cleared as before, just this one channel,

Please send the channel database of v7pro and v8x after you scan the 11347h 20857, we will analyze the reason for the disappearance of this program in v8x

Have sent the required information, as requested, sent working db info for V7 Pro / V8UHD, also sent db info for the receivers that do not work as they should V8X / V8 Turbo.
GTMedia are looking towards fixing the said issue.

Did Lin or someone from GT Media fix the problem? I just played the version GTMedia_V8X_Release_V319_20220519 on my box and my old settings for Abertis 30 West don't work. I did a new blind scan and now it works. I'll keep an eye on things too....Greetings Holzsat

On the V8X model, have scanned the said transponder, all channels found and clear, this is with (M.rs) software.
Will check with my other receivers and give a update.
