What is the best way of getting a softcam file from the USB onto the GTMedia Combo.
A idiot's guide would be great.

Re: Softcam File
Create your softcam.key file and rename as: SoftCam.Key
Copy to your USB and load to GTCombo
Go to DVB section
Menu
Installation
Type 6666 on your remote control
A new screen will pop up at the bottom:
Enter to CS Protocol section
Enter to OSCAM Configuration section
You should see your Softcam.Key file in the screen
Hit OK over. A checkmark will be add at the right of file
Hit the Red boton for IMPORT
Done!!
Note:
(There is another option you can used: Green Boton to backup or make a copy of the box softcam.key file to your USB)

Re: Softcam File
Had a go at adding a softcam file from USB onto the receiver this morning, when you more the curser to the (Softcam Setting) and then press OK,
You get onto the screen were you can add (red) (Biss/Powervu) one at a time, what i would like is to see is the (import/export) this would bring this in line with other GTMedia receivers, this in turn will make it easy for users.

Re: Softcam File
Softcam setting section is for that. To add/edit delete one by one. You want to go to Oscam configuration section as explained to do the import/ export.STRETCH wrote: ↑Mon Feb 21, 2022 9:32 amHad a go at adding a softcam file from USB onto the receiver this morning, when you more the curser to the (Softcam Setting) and then press OK,

Re: Softcam File
Thanks for confirming, still getting to grips with this receiver.
It would be better as a stand alone.
