Re: Backup option in the V8 Finder app.
Friends, what phone do you use, apple or androidUsername2 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 13, 2022 3:05 amPlease, in the next update of the V8 Finder app used in V8 Finder BT03 and BT05, add a user data backup option so that when need to reinstall the app or install on another device, we can restore all the settings made earlier.
PS:
The compass is indicating the direction of the satellites wrongly.
1. Backup function, we will look at it as planned
2. The compass satellite indication you said is wrong, can you tell me which satellite you are looking at?
3. The compass pointer is not displayed correctly?
4. Is there a problem with the display of the mobile phone?

Re: Backup option in the V8 Finder app.
Are you using southern hemisphere settings, ie your latitude is "South"?
Could that be the issue with the app?
I have a "South" issue with my GT Combo, it will not accept and save the south option.
I changed the satellite longitudes to match my location with the unit using the "North" setting.
My north/ longitude is 173e, so a satellite that is for real at 166e is changed to 180e. 173-166=7, 173+7=180
You could try the same to test if you think that is the issue, assuming the app allows that.
