V8 finder 2 bricked and force update not working

Hey everyone, I have a V8 Finder 2 and I recently updated it and that worked. I then tried to update my user database using the data base updates software and when I updated it it bricked my unit. It gets past the GT media logo but then freezes on a black screen. I've tried the hold menu button to get into the force flash mode which it does go into but it just keeps going from downloading to waiting and not actually flashing. I have formatted my USB to fat 32 and I've renamed the update file to flash.bin. Can someone please help?

I have the green one. Also I have tried with it plugged in

I have show file extensions on by default unfortunately.

Make sure you unzip it and rename it right to flash.bin, beware of Windows doing it wrong

I think the issue is with power / voltage levels during the recovery.

Again what finder2 do you have, green or silver.
The green has a small battery (3.7v) that may be the issue for you.

What should I do to alleviate this problem?

Try other USB sticks, Try with the charger connected, try with a 2A or bigger power supply, (maybe use a 12v car plug adaptor that will offer 5A in your car.)

Good afternoon.
I have my Gtmedia v8 Finder 2 stuck on the black screen. It doesn't turn on and the charge light stays on with the charger connected. I've tried to recover the device and nothing. Can anyone help me with any tips or procedures that I haven't done yet? It is without the primary voltages. Can someone give me the voltages of this device? (Green)
