Buonasera ragazzi ho un problema,
Il mio v8 uhd 4k all'improvviso non va piu HDMI
Va solo con scard , qualcuno sa come riattivare
HDMI
Se questo e' possibile.
Ringrazio anticipatamente
Salvatore.

Re: Hdmi
Do nuovo grazie e buona domenica

Re: Hdmi
Using the receiver with the scart connected to your TV, check through the settings of the V8UHD, and switch between the HDMI / SCART.
As another user has said, check the settings of your TV, try another HDMI lead, some times a cheap one works better.

Re: Hdmi
As said the HDMI may be dead.
If you have had power surges in your house that may have use the HDMI cable for ground currents from the dish / LNB to ground on your TV. The power supplies for GT Media units do not ground the unit, so the ground path is via the HDMI cable to the earthed ground on the TV power supply or TV antenna.
Another issue may be the physical connection of the HDMI connector inside the V8 UHD.
Mechanical movement / stress on the HDMI connection may have broken some of the connection from the circuit board.
I have had this with a USB port on my GT Combo unit as the ground / outer metal case connections to the board need higher / longer timer to solder to the board, and in my case that was a dry joint (not solidly joined to the board) and allowed the USB connection to move until it broke the data pins from the circuit board.
Also look into the HDMI connection on the V8UHD to see if there is any dirt there.
The Scart output is a AV connection. You can get Scart to AV converters and then use yellow, red and white RCA connections / cable to your TV if it still has a AV input.
Good luck
