Ritorno alla versione stock dopo M.rs (downgrade)

Che voi sappiate anche con l'ultima versione di M.rs viene impedito il downgrade verso la versione stock? Bisogna sempre andare di cavo seriale?

Ho già il cavo ed ho già effettuato la procedura; unico neo è che non va con Windows 11 e quindi devo andare da un amico che ha ancora un vecchio PC col quale riesco a comunicare.

Sarei felice di poter effettuare i downgrade senza l'ausilio di un vecchio PC che riesca a comunicare. Viceversa per me rimane uno sbattimento.

Check you have the correct port selected in the upgrade tool.

Here are some more note on USB to RS232 serial devices.

Here is how I got this to work

I had plugged the USB to RS232 serial device into a USB port and it loaded the driver as port 14.
The GT Media recovery tool only allows for ports 1 to 9.

I use Windows 7, this may be different for Windows 10.
I opened "My computer" / Control panel / View devices and printers.
There I can see the serial device and the port number it is using, for me that was 14.
I then clicked on it and when to Hardware / Properties / Change settings / Drivers / Uninstall.
Then I plugged in the USB to RS232 to a different USB on the other side of the laptop and it reloaded the driver as port 4.

I then worked.

Se guardi il link che ti ho postato con l'utilizzo del programmatore USB ch341a, io ho effettuato le operazioni con Windows 11. Sicuramente é un poco più complicato come metodo rispetto alla rs232 ma tieni presente che é in grado di riscrivere anche una flash, un BIOS che sarebbero morti cosa che una rs232 non può fare.
