This motor does look to be DiSEqC ONLY.
Method 1: No positions saved in the motor.
To set those up you need to move the motor using the move west, move east controls in the DiSEqC motor menu, while watching for the signal quality / level on a good known TP for a signal level.
You need to look up what are good active TP's and have their frequencies and SR sent in the TP menu so you can select and use them in the motor menu.
Note for high band TP's with a universal 9750 / 10600 LNB, the motor move command uses the 22kHz tone for sending the command to the motor and then returns it to "ON" after the move, so wait a second or two after the move to allow the LNB to be set back to high band (High band 22kHz tone "ON" is controlled by the "Auto" 22kHz setting in the menus for 9750/10600 universal LNB's)
Fine tune east / west for the best signal / quality.
After you find each satellite, then "Save" the position with the number you want.
Method 2:
If your motor is already set up with saved positions then do this:
Note the position number you have set for each satellite longitude you have set in the motor.
NOTE: When you "Save" the position number in the menu of the V8UHD it is ALSO saved into the motor as the position number for where the motor is now.
So to prevent incorrect positions being saved to a motor already set up do this.
With the LNB cable disconnected, set each satellite up for DiSEqC motor and "Save" the known position number for each.
This saves the position umbers in the V8UHD menus, but not to the Motor.
That done connect the LNB cable and test.
