Hi everyone,
I’m using a GTmedia V8 UHD connected to my living room TV, and I’ve recently noticed an issue. Out of nowhere, a thin horizontal ripple line starts drifting slowly down the screen, almost like a soft wave rolling over the image. Sometimes it’s faint, sometimes brighter, and on a few channels it even appears as two parallel lines moving together.
It doesn’t affect sound at all, just the picture. The moment it happens, it’s really distracting, then it suddenly disappears again after a few minutes.
Has anyone here who also uses the V8 UHD had this kind of visual ripple effect?

Re: Ripple Line
These are electromagnetic interferences, which can be caused by the power supply if it does not have a ferrite filter.
Check that the HDMI cable is not causing the problem.
If your router is very close to the STB, the WiFi signal may be affected.
It could also be any household appliance,
