The Freesat / GtMedia V8 Finder (V71HD) is the old finder, already known.

The GTMedia V8 Meter is another piece of equipment, probably coming out of the launch tests soon, I think.

I'm also waiting to know.

We expect the new hardware in the same box, with new software, to actually have power level indicators and full-size quality than the classic V-71HD. And that has the indication of BER and S / N.

That item on Aliexpress shows the new "V8 Finder-Meter" in the pictures at the top but the pictures and data below are for the older "V8 Finder V71-HD".
There is a new Finder-Meter unit, I am testing one for Freesat. Software is listed on this site for it.
The menus in the new Finder-Meter are not like the older one that was based on the V7HD.

Dear Owen, I'm also waiting for a test drive to arrive.

Could it be that in the new firmware, besides indicators in larger size compared to the Finder V71-HD model, was Team able to include Power (dbuv) and S / N (db) indicators?

Received the unit and it was the yellow v7d model. Gtmedia contacted me and gave me the correct order page for the the v8 Finder Meter. Waiting for it to arrive now. Will probably send the first one back to amazon haven't decided yet. Hoping the new one arrives to compare the two units before deciding.

The application was top(V8 finder BT03 app), just missing the blind scanner ... Can you add decibel indicator in the next update.
