I have acquired a gtmedia v7s hd.

Should I get a new firmware?
I have seen through some forum that audio does not work well.

The new software for the V7s unit is here.

I found the audio problem on my unit was due to me upgrading by the main code only method that does not do a factory reset as part of the upgrade.

Remember to USB Backup your channel list and "Export" your softcam.key file from the conditional access / 6666 / key edit menu.
Also save any ccam account info you have.

The Finder is like a hand held TV with its own battery that you can use on the roof to help you find satellites and align the dish.
I use a tone type finder in the LNB cable to help with this.
