Hi, Ive just got my first iFire box and it looks very nice equipment.
Im trying to connect to IPTV server thats using stalker (trying iFire in place of MAG box)
I can enter the URL no problem
But my IPTV supplier is saying my mac address must begin 00:1A:79....
Has anyone any info on this?

A lot of, but not all, stalker servers use the "middleware" system designed by the makers of the mag. This system requires a mac that starts with 00:1A:79. You may find that a mac of 00:1A:78 will work on some servers, this is so a spoofed mac will not clash with a legit mac from a mag, as they all start with 00:1A:79. AFAIK non of the GTMedia boxes will allow mac spoofing.
Even if you was able to spoof a mac, it may not work because of the security protocols used by the mag boxes. SOL... sorry.
