Remove duplicate channels
Hi there,
I have been searching and it seams there is not a function to remove duplicate channels after a blind search. It will be very very helpful to start sorting a list without loosing time removing duplicated channels. I have been using the DB tool and even there it is still necessary because without it you must search duplicates for each particular channel loosing a lot of time.
Any thoughts about it to solve this problem?

Re: Remove duplicate channels
hello
i want to know the reason of why there are many channels after blind scan?
are there many channels that change to other transponders?
if you delete the channles before blind scan, how about it?

Re: Remove duplicate channels
It is a firmware error, in community installations with a polarization, the channels where there is no signal are filled with channels, in the V9Super there is a channel 5 times, operating in polarity that does not exist
Re: Remove duplicate channels
Do you need to set the antenna settings for only H or V polarity then?

Re: Remove duplicate channels
No, the failure continues, what I do is make sure with the TP list, it is faster and safer, the problem happens in all Gtmedia models and it does not take much effort to do it by transponders
Re: Remove duplicate channels
hello
do you have v8x or v8uhd,backup the database to me. i will check the data
Re: Remove duplicate channels
It does it in the Novas, V8X, V9Super and V8UHD, it is more evident in collective antennas, it can make a channel can repeat 5 times, that is created by the blind search that is the most used, I already captured how those channels are repeat and with incorrect polarization, I am with individual antenna and could not reproduce that error, I have only made a TP list for a long time
Re: Remove duplicate channels
Hi again,
Sorry for my delay. I have attached my db binary file in a 7z
Also attached a capture of DBEditor with a 4 duplicated channel.
Note that before doing the blind search I have clean every channel. No data before the search.
Regards.

Re: Remove duplicate channels
hello
i have checked this database file.
i found out that these four channels(M. DEPORTES2) belong to 10978/H/22000,10978/V/22000,11828/H/22000,11828/V/22000.
from this information, I think your community lnb should not distinguish between H and V, and also does not distinguish between high and low local oscillators. You can try to set lnb type to 9750, fix lnb power to H or V, and then test and verify
